Ngondro means preliminary practice. The concrete practices Lama Sangye will teach are taken from the Dzogchen cycles Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyud and Atri, but they are suitable for beginners (as well as advanced practitioners) in any of the Nine Ways of Bon. Lama Sangye will briefly repeat what he taught in Spring about Lamai Nalgyor, Refuge and Bodhicitta and the three essential mantras and then cover the 100-syllable mantra, prostrations, and the mandala offering in detail.

He will give practical instructions on how to integrate the 9 times 100000 ngondro practices into daily life. As Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche keeps repeating: ngondro is an essential practice - indispensible, if you want to put your practice of Bön on a firm basis.
