The Mönlam Thaye is one of the most important ritual recitation texts of Bön. It is recited, often in times of trouble or sorrow, to the "small ritual melody" - a melody that seems to express the triumph of serenity over suffering.

Mönlam Thaye is both the name of the ritual text and of its Yidam. Lama Sangye Mönlam will teach us about both the text and the Yidam, will teach us the "small ritual melody" and practice reciting the text with us. The same melody is also used for other rituals and is an important one in Bon ritual music.

Texts (phonetics and English translation) will be provided. The Tibetan text is available separately. An integrated edition of the Tibetan text with phonetics added and an interlinear translation is in preparation.
