Bön mother tantra

Dream yoga teachings from the Ma Gyud by Lama Sangye Monlam in Yeshe Sal Ling, St. Radegund bei Graz, Austria, March 27 - April 2, 2016

These teachings will be the second Ma Gyud teachings in the new Bön center in Austria, Yeshe Sal Ling. At the time of the dream yoga teachings, the building of Yeshe Sal Ling will already be renovated, new bathrooms and a new heating system installed.

Ma Gyud dream yoga practice: The Ma Gyud (mother tantra) is the main source of dream practices in Bön. Most other texts on dream yoga, such as the dream yoga chapter in Shardza Rinpoche's Kusum Rangshar, are derived from the Ma Gyud. In no other text is dream yoga covered in such detail as in the Ma Gyud. As in his previous mother tantra teachings, Lama Sangye will go through the original Ma Gyud root text (Guru Nöntse's terma) with us and comment on it. He teaches in Tibetan and will be skillfully interpreted into English by Dr. Peter Alan Roberts.

Prerequisites: New students are welcome to join - having attended Lama Sangye's previous Ma Gyud teachings is helpful, but not a prerequisite. Beginners should practice at least some Ngöndro before attending Ma Gyud teachings. When in doubt, ask Lama Sangye.
